In many countries People celebrate Father’s day on the third Sunday of June every year. This year, June 18th, 2017 is Fathers Day. People all over the world celebrate Father’s day to show respect and gratitude to our Fathers. Unlike mother’s day, father’s day is celebrated on third Sunday of June in many countries of the world. Unlike other countries, some Catholic European countries celebrate Fathers Day as St. Joseph’s day on 19th March of every year.
Most of us feel that our mother loves us more than our father do. But what you overlook is the sacrifice that your father has made for you. We sometimes overlook them by thinking that it’s his duty. We think that He is my father He has to do it.

There are many ways of saying Happy Fathers Day all over the world. Different countries follow different ways of celebrating Fathers day. Here are traditions and ways of the celebration of different countries.
Traditionally, Indians celebrate Fathers day for two weeks. This span of two weeks is known as ‘Pitrapuksha’. Many cosmopolitan cities celebrate Fathers day on the same day as celebrated in the USA. People generally gift t-shirts, mugs, greeting cards and different electronic items to wish their fathers a happy fathers day.
Brazilians celebrate Fathers day exactly three months after Mother’s day. It is celebrated on Second Sunday of August. Fathers day is not a public holiday in Brazil. Brazilian people spend time with their fathers.
In Germany, a celebration of Fathers Day is different from other parts of the world. It is celebrated as Männertag. This is celebrated as Gentleman’s day on the Thursday 40 days before the Easter day. It is a federal holiday. People drink beer and carry a manual bandwagon on top of a hill. As a federal holiday, people enjoy and make merry on this day.
Australians celebrate Fathers Day on first Sunday of September every year. Fathers Day celebrations in Australia starts by giving the award to Fatherly figures at an annual function at the local community. The Fathers Day Council at Victoria also awards Father of the Year award.
On Fathers Day, People all over the world honor fatherhood and respect fatherly figures in their life. The sacrifices that father make to make our lives comfortable is a Godly thing.
