Normalization of rape? Being fearless is the need of the hour!

rape

Let no one touch you assuming that you belong to the weaker sex

Has it been bugging you too?  The constant layer of depressed and nerve wrecking bites all over the news? And what worries us the most is how most of these are related to rape, molestations, and sexual harassment.

What we can do:

Assist yourself with self-defence techniques and devices, ladies!
Yes, be extra cautious with your security. Let no one touch you assuming that you belong to the weaker sex. Whoever tries to touch you without your consent, really kick them in the balls and leave no stone unturned to defend yourself. Nowadays, a lot of short terms self-defense courses are available- join one of those. Carry pepper sprays and use whenever necessary. Don’t be meek, take charge- shout and create a ruckus. Ask for help, somewhere hopefully, where humanity is still alive, help will arrive.
To the men, We agree, not all men are rapists, but don’t be silent onlookers either. If your one little action can save someone’s life and honor – do it!

Stop the normalization of such crimes:

rape

Not only the women need to be fearless, the judiciary needs to be fearless in these cases as well

What’s even sad is that in this so-called ‘progressive’ age, we are still moving backward. Cases of rape are treated in absolute extremes the cops will behave like it’s an every other case that they can show leniency with and the Orthodox will label you impure. We all still remember India’s daughter, Nirbhaya don’t we? Her name signifies something – Nirbhaya (fearless), and that’s exactly the need of the hour. Not only the women need to be fearless, the judiciary needs to be fearless in these cases as well. Only if these people know consequences are to follow will they hesitate.

Let’s all raise voices against every wrong. If a woman can give birth to you, she sure can defend herself.

Stay safe, be fearless!
